Among the cities, he operates regularly are Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Amritsar, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.
He is the pioneer of Abdominal Wall Reconstruction in India and is part of the first global group of surgeons publishing the results of the eTEP retro muscular repairs. In fact, he has been the first to perform virtually every novel hernia operation that is currently in vogue in India.
Among advanced lap procedures, his experience has spanned surgeries on esophagus, stomach, pancreas, biliary system, colorectal and even other specialities like urology and gynaecology (in the past).
Dr. Ramana is known to be frank and honest in all his dealings with patients and others and treats patients with kindness and consideration. He considers as his main asset the trust he has commanded in his long associations with surgeons at all levels as well as thousands of patients.
